A Brief History of OrlandoBands.com

OrlandoBands.com was founded in 2003 by Ben Gardner. It was originally started on a Yahoo geocities hosted site, and continued to grow. Using the website as a hub, I have been able to meet hundreds of new people, and thousands of musicians! There have been close to 100 shows either sponsored by, or produced by OrlandoBands.com in the Central Florida area. We have been able to place hundreds of bands on shows, and help network relations with artists. The website itself had gone through 3 major facelifts until 2006. In March of 2006, OrlandoBands.com was severely hacked. All databases pertaining to the project were lost, along with the bands information and artist profiles. Everything came to a screeching halt for over a year until late June of 2007. Now with our new rendition of the site, and polished services, plus a support staff larger than we have ever had, we are doing it again. Including a new look, many of the sites features and services have undergone change. It has a been a pleasure to take time to help people, and even more of a pleasure to work with music.
